Welcome to the 2025 Best of NH Ballot, hosted by New Hampshire Magazine! Best of NH is the original "best-of" ballot in New Hampshire, first presented in 2000.
Important info and dates: There is only one ballot, which contains all categories, including food, drink, shops, services, people and entertainment. Categories have been set and will not be changed/added/removed/adjusted. The single voting period is from January 17 to March 17, 2025.
Please remember: All voting should be for local New Hampshire businesses only, not national chains (McDonald's, Five Guys, Olive Garden, Petco, PetSmart Outback Steakhouse, Barnes & Noble, etc.). National chains are disqualified from winning as this poll represents the best that New Hampshire's businesses have to offer.
FAQS
Q. OMG! The ballot looks long. Do I have to fill the whole thing out?
A. You do not need to vote in every category. We ask that you please fill out a minimum of 10 categories for your ballot to count.
Q: When will the winners be revealed?
A: Winners will be contacted in April regarding their win. The complete list of winners will appear in the July 2025 issue of New Hampshire Magazine.
Q. What if I don’t have an answer or preference for a category?
A. No worries! You do not need to vote in every category. If you don’t have a preference, then please just skip the category. As Dory says, "Just keep swimming."
Q. How am I supposed to know which region my favorite business is located in?
A. You'll notice many categories (burger, brewery, bakery, pizzeria, to name a few) have regional references and it can be a little confusing to know which region each business is in. For the sake of this ballot, we use the regions as laid out here.
Q. Can I vote as many times as I’d like to?
A. You're welcome to come back and vote in different categories but you will only have one vote per category.
Q. How can my business get listed on the ballot?
A. If your business isn't already listed, please feel free to write it in so others can vote for it too!
Q. My business doesn't fit into any of these categories, so can you add a category to the ballot?
A. Sorry, no. Please do not reach out asking us to add categories to the ballot. Categories are finalized for the 2025 ballot.
Q. What are you planning to do with my information?
A. We'll use it to keep you in the loop regarding Best of NH related things (the ballot, party, etc.) and we'll add you to our e-newsletters (you can opt out at any time!). We respect your privacy and will not sell your information to any third parties, etc.
